AM FM Stereo Radio Circuit

The TEA5764UK is a single chip electronically tuned FM stereo Radio with Radio Data System (RDS) and Radio Broadcast Data System (RBDS) Demodulator and RDS/RBDS decoder for portable application with fully integrated IF selectivity and demodulation. The Radio is completely adjustment free and only requires a minimum of small and low cost external c visit page. AM/FM Stereo Radio Circuit

Simple AM Transmitter

Circuit diagram: Description There are not many AM transmitters that are easier to build than this one because the inductor is not tapped and has a single winding. There is no need to wind the inductor as it is a readily available RF choke (eg, Jaycar Cat LF-1536). To make the circuit as small as possible, the conventional tuning capacitor has been dispensed with and fixed 220pF capacitors used instead. To tune it to a particular frequency, reduce one or both of the 220pF capacitors to raise the frequency or add capacitance in parallel to lower the frequency. Q1 is biased with a 1MO resistor to give a high input impedance and this allows the use of a crystal ear piece as a low cost microphone. author : Peter Goodwin Source http://www.extremecircuits.net/2010/05/simple-am-transmitter.html

SW Converter for AM Radio

SW Converter for AM Radio Circuit diagram. Apart from chucking it in the bin, what can you do with old AM car radio or clock radio in your junkbox? How about turning it into a crystal controlled, stable, short wave radio receiver, for a minimum investment in time and money? Read on. The heart of the circuit shown here is an IC which goes by the name NE602, NE612 or SA612. It is a double balanced mixer that includes an oscillator that can be crystal-controlled, free running or even driven externally from a PLL, etc. It was originally designed for mobile telephones and is probably available in junked car phones from the tip. The NE602/612 contains a differential input amplifier (called a Gilbert Cell), an oscillator/buffer, a temperature compensated bias network and a power regulator. Typical frequency response is in excess of 500 MHz for the input and 100 MHz for the oscillator. AM transmitter using Integrated Circuit

Many beginners give up playing with RF due to the difficulty of building coils and problems with self oscillations that are common in many electronic circuits of RF. I always point out to beginning the construction of a small FM transmitter, myself have made available a simple circuit and an explanatory tutorial in Article Micro FM Transmitter and Micro Spy FM Transmitter Spy Bug in SMD. The RF is really a very critical area, but on the other hand, it is the most rewarding, especially when we see one of our creations give the air of grace and drop its waves through the air. I always say that we learn more from mistakes and making mistakes is part of the electronics, I even today burst capacitors and transistors see loose tufts of smoke, the difference is that today I have fun with these errors. Here I will publish a simple electronic circuit RF, so simple that does not use a single coil. This is a small tone transmitter modulated (AM) for the band of medium waves (AM) using an integrat...

AM Radio built around LM555

AM Radio built around LM555 Circuit AM radio built around 555 timer chip. The only active device (silicon, germanium, or otherwise) is the LM555. The tuning is accomplished with an inductor and a capacitor, and the LM555 acts as an AM demodulator and class-D power amplifier to drive the speaker. You may be wondering how all this is accomplished with a 555. Here’s how the circuit works: The AM radio signal is tuned by inductor L, which is 300 turns of wire on a 1/2 inch diameter cardboard tube made out of a paper roll, along with the 100pF variable capacitor. One end of the parallel configuration of L and C connects to an antenna (surprisingly long!) and the other end connects to a ground wire which is tied to the AC outlet ground (old books tell you to ground it to a water pipe).    So far this is exactly like an AM crystal radio. The 555 timer is configured as a pulse width modulator in a non-traditional configuration. If I used the standard approach and connected t...

WHERE AM I HEADED

Hello there, Just recently I met the 8051 microcontroller in one of our semester's course. Being interested in Programming and Digital Logic Design myself, I simply loved playing with it as it is actually the combination of both. It tests both your software and hardware skills for a successful outcome. The fun part is that it's always a go or no-go situation which means that whatever you build, it works or it doesn't work. In either case it's pretty much easier to analyse the problem. READ MORE

AM Transmitter circuit analysis

AM Transmitter circuit analysis Parts of the transmitter AM: 1. The input signal The input signal in the form of electrical signals generated by mechanical equipment modifier into electrical vibrations. Tools that generate these signals include a microphone, LPs, and others. Power signals issued by these tools, the amplitude is still too small, so it requires strengthening again.   2. Audio amplifier Audio signal that is still small signal voltage amplitude will be strengthened, so that the resulting stress intensity audio signal is strong. Amplifier section can be either audio amplifier or preamp only with the amplifier end. 3. Oscillator circuit Oscillator circuit is an electronic circuit that functions to produce high vibration. The frequency of the resulting circuit is high because if low, this electrical vibration will not radiate much. Oscillator which is used in the transmitter is the oscillator RF. RF oscillator is a high frequency generator that serves as a signal carrier....
