Home Security System

This alarm circuit activates when S1 through S5 are activated. This lights LED1 and activates Q1 via IC1C and IC1D. RY1 is wired to self latch. S10 is used to reset. When key switch S1 is activated or when re-entry buttons at S6 are depressed, IC1C is deactivated until RC network R7/C3 charges. Home Security System Circuit Diagram

Home theater design may require professional help

Having to be able to bring home entertainment may be a luxury. This is because only very few households can afford home theater system. Of late, only the rich and the famous can afford such luxury. This notion is now a thing of the past. Home theater systems may now be available to greater number of households because of the knowledge of basic home theater design. The basic home theater design may only require three basic components and these three components may already be affordable for the working class. However, before you may need to think of the basic home theater design for your home theater system, you may need to know the size of the room for the home theater set up. The size of the room to where the home theater will be set up will depend on how basic the home theater design needs to be. Home theater experts recommends that if the room is quite small, all you need for your home theater design is a television set, three speakers and a DVD player. The home theater design may be...

TV Remote controlled home appliance circuit

This is one of the popular EFY circuit. i build this one very easily. The circuit consists of very less components and simple in design. Connect this circuit to any of your home appliances (lamp, fan, radio, etc) to make the appliance turn on/off from a TV, VCD or DVD remote control. The circuit cane activated from up to 10 metres. The 38kHz infrared (IR) rays generated by the remote control are received by IR receiver module TSOP1738 of the circuit. Pin 1 of TSOP1738 is connected to ground, pin 2 is connected to the power supply through resistor R5 and the output is taken from pin 3. The output signal is amplified by transistor T1 (BC558). The amplified signal is fed to clock pin 14 of decade counter IC CD4017 (IC1). Pin 8 of IC1 is grounded, pin 16 is connected to Vcc and pin 3 is connected to LED1 (red), which glows to indicate that the appliance is ‘off.’ The output of IC1 is taken from its pin 2. LED2 (green) connected to pin 2 is used to indicate the ‘on’ state of the applia...

Making a Home Theater System Using IC TDA 7560

The TDA7560 is a breakthrough BCD (Bipolar / CMOS / DMOS) expertise class AB Audio Power Amplifier in Flexiwatt 25 package designed for superior power car radio. The fully complementary P-Channel/N-Channel output structure makes it possible for a rail to rail output voltage sway which, fused with high output current and minimized saturation losses sets new innovative power referrals in the car-radio field, with incomparable distortion performances. DC OFFSET DETECTOR The TDA7560 combines a DC offset sensor to prevent that an anomalous DC offset on the inputs of the amplifier might be multiplied by the gain and lead to a risky significant offset on the outputs that may result in speakers harm for overheating. The feature is enabled by the MUTE pin and operates with the amplifier umuted and without signal on the inputs. The DC offset identification is signaled out on the HSD pin. STAND-BY AND MUTING STAND-BY and MUTING facilities are both CMOS-COMPATIBLE. In lack of genuine CMOS...
