Simple 6Meter kilowatt amplifier Circuit Diagram

This is the Simple 6Meter kilowatt amplifier Circuit Diagram. The amplifier uses a grounded grid circuit with either the Eimac 3CX1000A7 or 8877, ceramic/metal triodes intended for linear service in the HF and VHF ranges. The amp provides the legal power output of 1500 watts PEP and CW service with no effort and requires a driver delivering between 50 and 80 watts at 50 MHz. With a plate voltage of 3000 volts at 0.8 amps the amplifier performs at 60 percent efficiency. The grid is grounded by means of the grid ring of the 3CX1000A7 socket providing a low-inductance path td ground. The amplifier is completely stable. Simple 6Meter kilowatt amplifier Circuit Diagram

Defects of a simple Electric Cell

4.2.1.1 Defects of a simple Electric Cell The practical value and performance of simple cells is limited by the following defects: (a)          Polarization In the reaction in the simple cell, hydrogen gas is evolved. It collects in bubbles around the positive electrode and-eventually insulate the positive electrode from the solution.  This  stops  the reaction. This process is known as polarization. It is minimized by use of a depolarizer.  This is a chemical which reacts with the hydrogen to produce water e.g. manganese dioxide. (b)          Local Action Impurities such as iron and lead embedded in the zinc  electrode  form small local cells. The impurity acts as the positive electrode and zinc as the negative. The formation of these local cells between the impurities and the zinc electrode is referred to as local action. It tends to wear the zinc electrod...

Simple Motor Control Circuits

Simple UPS Power Supply

This circuit is a simple form of the commercial UPS , the circuit provides a constant regulated 5 Volt output and an unregulated 12 Volt supply. In the event of electrical supply line failure the battery takes over, with no spikes on the regulated supply. This circuit can be adapted for other regulated and unregulated voltages by using different regulators and batteries. For a 15 Volt regulated supply use two 12 Volt batteries in series and a 7815 regulator . There is a lot of flexibility in this circuit. TR1 has a primary matched to the local electrical supply which is 240 Volts in the UK. The secondary winding should be rated at least 12 Volts at 2 amp, but can be higher, for example 15 Volts. FS1 is a slow blow type and protects against short circuits on the output, or indeed a faulty cell in a rechargeable battery. LED 1 will light ONLY when the electricity supply is present, with a power failure the LED will go out and output voltage is maintained by the battery. The circuit bel...

Simple Music operated Dancing Light Circuit

This circuit may be used for transforming music into dancing light patterns. The operation of the circuit is very simple, the music input is fed to the bases of the shown transistor array, each of them are configured to conduct at a specific voltage level in the incrementing order from the top to the bottom transistor. Thus the uppermost transistor conducts with the input music is at the minimum volume level and the subsequent transistor starts to conduct in sequence as per the volume or the pitch of the music. Each transistor is rigged with individual lamps which light up in response to the music levels in a “chasing” dancing light pattern. Parts List All the base presets are = 10K, All the collector resistors are 470 Ohms, All the diodes are = 1N4148, All NPN transistors are = BC547, The single PNP transistor is = BC557, All the triacs are = BT136, The input capacitor = 0.22uF/25V non polar.

Simple SINE WAVE GENERATOR CIRCUIT

Sine wave is the Basic Input wave form for almost all amplifiers. Now we going to generate a sine wave of 1Khz Frequency and a peak to peak voltage of about 10V without using a signal generator. CIRCUIT DIAGRAM FOR SINE WAVE GENERATOR Components Required to wireup this circuit Q - BC107 R1 - 47KΩ R2 - 10KΩ R3 - 47KΩ R4 - 4.7KΩ Rc - 2.2KΩ Re - 680Ω Ce - 22μF C - 0.01μF Vcc - 12V OUTPUT WAVEFORM SINE WAVE GENERATOR Working of Sine wave Generator The circuit used here, is an RC Phase Shift Oscillator. It is an RC coupled Amplifier with an phase shifting network, the phase shifted output is again feedback to the input of transistor(base). We know that By BarkHausen Criteria, an amplifier will act as an oscillator if the phase shifting angle is multiple of 0, 360,........ Here the Resistors R3, R4 and Capacitors C helps to maintain a Phase shift and create oscillations.

Simple 12V to 250V Converter

A very simple portable 12v to 250V converter can be designed using this circuit diagram. This 12 to 250V converter is designed for portable use with a 12 V car battery.A built astabil multivibrator T1 and T2 generates a rectangular wave at a frequency of 50 Hz. As T1 and T2 drive alternative exit stage system also works in "push-pull". When T1 lead by passing a current T3: T5 and that it engages the latter transistor connects to a half battery of 12 V secondary winding of the transformer Tr When T2 network drive, T6 transistor coupled to the battery the other half of the network adapter. Simple 12V to 250V Converter  Circuit Diagram  If it is used for output stages 40 411 RCA transistors, the current through secondary winding can be up to 10 A, giving a power output of 180 watts. If you use 2N3055 transistors, power output will be about 90 watts. Since the output transistors are driven to saturation, they have very high mounted radiators.Although circuit is simple construct...

Simple 12 Volt Gel Cell Charger

When a discharged gel cell is connected, the charger goes into a fast charge mode at a fixed rate of 400 ma. After the chip detects the voltage leveling off or when 4 1/2 hours has elapsed. (which ever happens first.) the fast charge will stop. After the fast charge has ended, the IC goes into a trickle charge rate of about 50 ma. This trickle charge continues until 13.8 volts is reached which will stop all charging current since the cell is now fully charged. If the cell voltage should drop for any reason, either a fast charge or trickle charge (IC will detect what is needed) will start again. 12 Volt Gel Cell Charger Circuit Diagram When constructing this circuit, be sure to attach a small heat sink to Q1. Apply a DC (partially filtered) voltage of at least 15.3 volts. The voltage must never go below this level even under load conditions. Many of the DC wall transformers available will work just fine as long as they meet the minimum voltage requirement. The input voltage can be as hi...

Simple Remote Control Mains Switch

As the only electronics engineer in my  =family and circle of friends, it is some-times not possible to evade an appeal for help. This time the request came from a friendly elderly lady in a retirement home. In her room the light switch by the door  and the pull cord above the bed operate the light fitting on the ceiling in the middle of the room. However, she would prefer that her standing lamp was operated  by these switches instead, since she does not actually have a light fitting mounted  on the ceiling. This standing lamp has an  on/of f switch in the power cord and is  plugged into a power point. However, it  stands rather far from the bed so that she  always has to find her way in the dark. A  wireless operated power point is not really  a consideration, because it is just a matter of time before the remote is lost. Or maybe not?  Simple Remote Control Mains Switch Circuit Diagram : Behold a feasible circuit. Buy a wireless p...

Simple VHF FM Aircraft Receiver

VHF FM Aircraft Receiver is a supererogation receiver developed for listening to FM transmitters but also tunes the aircraft band and the top portion of the FM broadcast band. Receives both AM and FM (107mHz to 135 MHz). You can use this receiver with the any FM transmitter. The receiver is amazingly simple using only one transistor for the receiver section and one IC for the audio section. This circuit is a self-quenching regenerative RF receiver also known as a super regenerative receiver. A superregenerative receiver performs two basic functions.    First it feeds back a portion of the received signal from it’s output in phase to its input; and second a super audible quenching oscillator drives the amplifier through the point of oscillation and maximum sensitivity and then quenches the oscillation repeatedly. This keeps the feedback from driving the circuit into self-oscillation and allows the signal to be regenerated over and over again. In this version of the circuit, ...

Simple Remote Solar LED light

Introduction I created this circuit in an attempt to make the simplest possible solar powered project. It would make for an excellent science fair project, and would also serve as a good introduction to solar powered circuitry. It may also have some practical uses, such as shedding some light into a dark part of your house. The idea is simple, the solar panel converts sunlight into a trickle of electricity. The electricity is used to run a white LED. Specifications Operating Voltage: 3.7V DC Solar Current: 25ma max. LED Lamp Operating Current: 10-25ma. Theory The remote solar powered LED light takes advantage of the current limited nature of solar photovoltaic cells. If light shines on the solar array, current will flow through the circuit. For a typical size of solar cell, there is a maximum current that can be produced. The maximum solar cell current is simply matched to a value of current that the LED can handle. If there is enough light to raise the solar panel's voltage ab...

This is a Simple Touch Sensitive Switch Circuit Diagram . This circuit A high impedance input is provided by Ql, a general purpose field effect transistor 741 op amp is used as a sensitive voltage level switch which in turn operates the current Q2, a medium current PNP bipolar transistor, thereby energizing the relay which can be used to control equipment, alarms, etc. Simple Touch Sensitive Switch Circuit Diagram

Simple LED Voltmeter

Four µ741 op-amps are used here to measure the voltage ranging from 3V to 12V DC. The voltage measured is displayed on eight LED s. The inverting inputs (pin 2) of IC1 through IC4 are supplied with regulated 12V DC through voltage dividers R1 through R4. So the inverting input of each op-amp forms the reference voltage. The non-inverting inputs (pin 3) of the op-amps are tied together and connected to the input terminals. The voltage to be meaured is fed to these input terminals. When the input voltage exceeds the reference voltage of any of the op-amps, its output goes high, making the corresponding LED s to glow. This circuit is designed to measure 3V, 6V, 9V and 12V DC. For instance, when the input voltage is 3V, LED 7 and LED8 glow. When the input voltage is 12V, all the LED s glow. Note. You can use a quad device such as LM324 instead of µ741 IC s. Simple Light Flasher Circuit Diagram

This is a very basic circuit for flashing one or more LEDS and also to alternately flash one or more LEDs.It uses a 555 timer setup as an astable multivibrator with a variable frequency. With the preset at its max. the flashing rate of the LED is about 1/2 a second. It can be increased by increasing the value of the capacitor from 10uF to a higher value.  For example if it is increased to 22uF the flashing rate becomes 1 second. There is also provision to convert it into an alternating flasher. You just have to connect a LED and a 330ohm as shown in Fig.2 to the points X and Y of Fig.1. Then both the LEDs flash alternately.Since the 555 can supply or sink in upto 200mA of current, you can connect upto about 18 LEDS in parallel both for the flasher and alternating flasher (that makes a total of 36 LEDs for alternating flasher).  Light Flasher Circuit Diagram

Simple Lithium Ion Charger 2 Cell Circuit

The below circuit is a Simple Lithium Ion Charger 2 Cell Circuit Diagram. This circuit was build to charge a couple series Lithium cells (3.6 volts each, 1 Amp Hour capacity) installed in a portable transistor radio. The charger operates by supplying a short current pulse through a series resistor and then monitoring the battery voltage to determine if another pulse is required. The current can be adjusted by changing the series resistor or adjusting the input voltage. When the battery is low, the current pulses are spaced close together so that a somewhat constant current is present. As the batteries reach full charge, the pulses are spaced farther apart and the full charge condition is indicated by the LED blinking at a slower rate. Simple Lithium Ion Charger 2 Cell Circuit Diagram A TL431 , band gap voltage reference (2.5 volts) is used on pin 6 of the comparator so that the comparator output will switch low, triggering the 555 timer when the voltage at pin 7 is less than 2....

Build a Simple Digital Electronic Lock Circuit Diagram

Build a Simple Digital Electronic Lock Circuit Diagram . This is a Build a Simple Digital Electronic Lock Circuit Diagram . The digital lock shown below uses 4 common logic ICs to allow controlling a relay by entering a 4 digit number on a keypad. The first 4 outputs from the CD4017 decade counter (pins 3,2,4,7) are gated together with 4 digits from a keypad so that as the keys are depressed in the correct order, the counter will advance. Simple Digital Electronic Lock Circuit Diagram As each correct key is pressed, a low level appears at the output of the dual NAND gate producing a high level at the output of the 8 input NAND at pin 13. The momentary high level from pin 13 activates a one shot circuit which applies an approximate 80 millisecond positive going pulse to the clock line (pin 14) of the decade counter which advances it one count on the rising edge. A second monostable, one shot circuit is used to generate an approximate 40 millisecond positive going pulse which is applied...

Simple Frequency Voltage Converter Circuit Diagram

This is the simple frequency voltage converter circuit diagram. Teledyne Semiconductor`s Type TSC9402 is a versatile IC. Not only can it convert voltage into frequency, but also frequency into voltage. It is thus eminently suitable for use in an add-on unit for measuring frequencies with a multimeter.  Only a few additional components are required for this.. Just one calibration point sets the center of the measuring range (or of that part of the range that is used most frequently). The frequency-proportional direct voltage at the output (pin 12—amp out) contains interference pulses at levels up to 0.7 V. If these have an adverse effect on the multimeter, they can be suppressed with the aid of a simple RC network.  The output voltage, U0, is calculated by: tfo=C/rei(Ci + 12 pF) R2fm Because the internal capacitance often has a greater value than the 12 pF taken here, the formula does not yield an absolute value. The circuit has a frequency range of dc to 10 kHz. At 10 kHz, t...
