Making a Cigar Box Guitar – Part 1

Well hello everyone. Today we’re going to talk about cigar box guitars (CBGs). For a while now, I’ve been noticing more and more references to CBGs creeping into popular websites, including one of my favourites, boing-boing.net. Here are a couple of recent articles from there: http://boingboing.net/2012/04/13/cigar-box-guitars-book-photo-g.html http://boingboing.net/2012/02/14/grand-re-opening-of-the-cigar.html It was my birthday last month and my friend Mike bought me a copy of “Cigar Box Guitars” by David Sutton. It’s a great book that explains not only how to make four different cigar box guitars, step by step, but also interviews some very interesting characters involved in the cigar box guitar scene. I decided to have a go at making one of the CBGs described in the book, and that’s what this post is about. Firstly I got my hands on a Cigar box, graciously donated by another very good friend of mine (thanks, Kevin). I searched around for a while for suitable scrap wood for the n...

Making PC USB LCD controller project

This really a work that so cool if you like modif PC. So this is a USB interface for alphanumeric LCD display like 4 × 20 which can be controlled with LCD Smartie program. USB interface is implemented by using PIC18F2550 microcontroller, Using USB LCD modules. Below is a project of the USB LCD controller. Schematic circuit and PCB design source  | link

Making a Home Theater System Using IC TDA 7560

The TDA7560 is a breakthrough BCD (Bipolar / CMOS / DMOS) expertise class AB Audio Power Amplifier in Flexiwatt 25 package designed for superior power car radio. The fully complementary P-Channel/N-Channel output structure makes it possible for a rail to rail output voltage sway which, fused with high output current and minimized saturation losses sets new innovative power referrals in the car-radio field, with incomparable distortion performances. DC OFFSET DETECTOR The TDA7560 combines a DC offset sensor to prevent that an anomalous DC offset on the inputs of the amplifier might be multiplied by the gain and lead to a risky significant offset on the outputs that may result in speakers harm for overheating. The feature is enabled by the MUTE pin and operates with the amplifier umuted and without signal on the inputs. The DC offset identification is signaled out on the HSD pin. STAND-BY AND MUTING STAND-BY and MUTING facilities are both CMOS-COMPATIBLE. In lack of genuine CMOS...
