Schematic 10 Way Electronic Switch

This is a 10 way electronic latching switch using just two switches. Each output can be latched on and off independently. 10 Way Electronic Switch Circuit Diagram Notes The schematic is shown above, and two switches S1 and S2 are used to control the outputs. The main work is done by U2 a CMOS4017 decade counter divider IC. At switch on, C1 is quickly charged by R4 and a brief reset pulse is applied to to the reset pins of both U1 and U2. This results in U1, a 7 segment display display driver and decade counter showing "zero" on the 7 segment display and pin 3 (which is the output zero) of the 4017 becoming high. Each time S1 is pressed the clock input of U2 is incremented, by one count and the display and 4017 will cycle through all 10 outputs. A separate reset switch is not provided as the display reads the currently selected output. When the 4017 is on a particular output, for example zero, then the controlled circuit can be turned on or off using switch S2. To latch the ou...

Energy Saving Switch Schematic Diagram

Lights do not always need to be on at full power. Often it would be useful to be able to turn off the more powerful lights to achieve softer illumination, but this requires an installation with two separately-switch-able circuits, which is not always available.   Energy-Saving Switch Circuit Image  If the effort of chasing out channels and replastering for a complete new circuit is too much, then this circuit might help. Normal operation of the light switch gives gentle illumination (LA1). For more light, simply turn the switch off and then immediately (within 1 s) on again. The circuit returns to the gentle light set-ting when switched off for more than 3 s. There is no need to replace the light switch with a dual version: simply insert this circuit between switch and lamp. Build a Cell Phone Jammer Schematic Diagram

This cell phone jammer operates at GSM800 frequency since most mobile phones use it to operate. So the selected VCO is a sweeping oscillator, which is very effective but may be hard to construct for the beginners without nice RF-testing equipment. As a noise source you can use 45MHz clock oscillator which is driving Local Oscillator port located on a mini-circuit mixer. There is also an impedance matching network for Local Oscillator signal to pass through it. It is used to equate impedances of the clock oscillator and the port of the mixer. RF input (which is this port of the mixer) connected to the first 800MHz cell phone antenna, and the RF output is sent to the mini-circuit amplifier. This amplifier increases the output power for 15-16dbm. The amplified signal then sent to the second cell phone antenna.  works All cell phones which use GSM800 have their transmitted and received frequencies always separated by 45MHz. So when the mobile phone tries to call it is blocked b...

Simple Electromagnetic Field Detector Schematic

This circuit is sensitive to low frequency electromagnetic radiation and will detect for example hidden wiring or the field that encompasses a transformer. Pickup is by a radial type inductor, used as a probe which responds well to low frequency changing magnetic and electric fields. Ordinary headphones are used to for detection. The field that surrounds a transformer is heard as a 50 or 60Hz buzz. The circuit is below:- Electromagnetic Field Detector Circuit Diagram Notes: I threaded a length of screened cable through an old pen tube and soldered the ends to a radial type can inductor. I used 1mH. The inductor fitted snugly into the pen tube. The opposite end of the cable connects to the input of the op-amp. Any op-amp should work here, possibly better results may be achieved with a low noise FET type such as the LF351. The 2M2 potentiometer acts as a gain control and the output is a pair of headphones. Stereo types can be used if they are wired as mono. I used an 8 ohm type, but the ...

PIC32 Proto Board Details Schematic PCB and Pictures

I previously showed you my PIC32 proto board I made on verroboard (http://www.blogspot.com/2016/02/pic32-development-proto-board-on.html). To make the proto board “more of a product” and easy to reproduce, I was working to make the proto board on a PCB. I used ExpressSCH to draw the schematic, and used ExpressPCB to design the PCB. Once designed, Professor Bruce Land got the PCB made from ExpressPCB themselves. The PCB is just to be a basic board with the PIC32MX250F128B placed on it. The power supply connections are provided as are external oscillator connections (if needed). Additionally, there is a nice convenient power supply input connector (standard 2.5mm jack/plug). All the IO pins along with power (Vin and +3.3V) and ground are placed on a SIL connector at the edge of the board so that the board can be conveniently placed on a breadboard for experimenting and prototyping (see pictures below). It's a nice little 2-layer PCB measuring only 3.1 inches by 1.8 inches. I chose t...

4 5 Mhz Notch Filter Schematic

Component value sensitivity is extremely critical, as are temperature coefficients and matching of the components. Best performance is attained when perfectly matched components are used and when the gain of the amplifier is unity. 4.5 Mhz Notch Filter Schematic To illustrate, the quality factor Q is very high as amplifier gain approaches 1 with all components matched (in fact, theoretically it approaches infinity) but decreases to about 12.5 with the amplifier gain at 0.98.
