Dog Whistle for Ronja

Ronja is the author’s dog, a beagle-mongrel,  who seems increasingly often to need to be  called to heel either with a shout or with a  whistle. And so the idea came about for an  electronic dog whistle that could produce  two alternating high-frequency tones. A  design like this has several advantages over  conventional whistles or calling.   Dog Whistle for Ronja Circuit Diagram   You can continue to carry on a conversation with your friends without having to  stop to whistle or call to your dog. Using high frequencies means that  the whistle sound is barely audible to  (especially older) humans and so is less  annoying to other people than conventional whistles or calls. As is well known,  dogs have rather better hearing than  we do and can hear frequencies of up to  40 kHz. The two alternating pitches mean that the  dog can more easily distinguish it from  other whistles.   The dog wh...

Ultrasonic Dog Whistle Circuit Diagram

It's well known that many animals are particularly sensitive to high-frequency sounds that humans can't hear. Many commercial pest repellers based on this principle are available, most of them operating in the range of 30 to 50 kHz. My aim was, however, to design a slightly different and somewhat more powerful audio frequency/ultrasonic sound generator that could be used to train dogs. Just imagine the possibilities - you could make your pet think twice before barking again in the middle of the night or even subdue hostile dogs (and I guess burglars would love that!). From what I've read, dogs and other mammals of similar size behave much differently than insects. They tend to respond best to frequencies between 15 and 25 kHz and the older ones are less susceptible to higher tones. This means that an ordinary pest repeller won't work simply because dogs can't hear it. Therefore, I decided to construct a new circuit (based on the venerable 555, of course) with a vari...

ALL IN ONE REPELLENT CIRCUIT Insects mosquito lizards and dog

ALL IN ONE REPELLENT CIRCUIT INTRODUCTION Now i am going to introduce you an All in one Repellent circuit. Ya i mean it, by using this circuit you can keep nasty insects, Mosquitoes, lizards, and dogs away. Lets look the PRINCIPLE of this circuit:- This circuit works under the Principle of Ultrasonics. As you may know, we can't hear Ultrasonic sounds but animals or insects like Mosquitoes, bees, lizards and even dog can hear Ultrasonic sounds well. How this repellent circuit keeps Insects, lizards, Mosquitos and Dogs away? As i mentioned above, they can hear Ultrasonic sonic sound well at a particular Frequency range. Above that, they may get IRRITATED continuously. That's how this repellent circuit works. CIRCUIT DIAGRAM FOR ALL IN ONE REPELLENT CIRCUIT. CIRCUIT EXPLANATION FOR ALL IN ONE REPELLENT. The ALL in one REPELLENT CIRCUIT mainly consisting of a 555 timer, Frequency determining network, and a buzzer. The 555(NE555) timer is wired here as an ASTABLE MULTIVIBRATOR, whi...
