Simple Preamplifier and High to Low impedance Converter Circuit Diagram

This is the Simple Preamplifier and High to Low impedance Converter Circuit Diagram. This circuit matches the very high impedance of ceramic cartridges, unity gain, and low impedance output.  Simple Preamplifier and High to Low impedance Converter Circuit Diagram By `loading` the cartridge with a 2M2 input resistance, the cartridge characteristics are such as to quite closely compensate for the RIAA recording curve. The output from this preamp may be fed to a level pot for mixing. Sourced By: Circuitsproject

Preamplifier Switching Center Module

Preamplifier Switching Center Module Parts R1,R2,R3,R4____100K 1/4W Resistors R5_____________560R 1/4W Resistor SW1,SW2________2 poles 4 ways Rotary Switches J1 to J6_______RCA audio input sockets This Module can be a all-important accession to the Modular Preamplifier Control Center back added than two sources charge to be affiliated to the preamplifier chain. Four aerial akin inputs can be alleged by agency of SW1 and baffled to the output. The achievement of this bore charge be affiliated by a acceptable cable to one of the two inputs of the Control Center module. In this way, a absolute of bristles inputs will be accessible to the user of this bore combination. The Switching Control appearance additionally the so alleged "Double Bar", i.e. the achievability of acquisition to an alien unit, e.g. a recorder (tape or digital) an ascribe arresting altered from that reproduced at the time by the amplifier. For example, you can accept in to a CD admitting the arresting advanci...

53 dB Stereo Preamplifier for Tape or Phonographs

With the circuit shown in the following schematic diagram, both channels of this stereo preamp is constructed using  RCA CA3052 quad AC amplifier.  this pre-amplifier circuit is featured with tone control (bass – treble). Make a similar circuit to complete the other channel, since the circuit for left and right channel are similar. To be high-fidelity, total harmonic distortion should be kept minimum, this circuit gives less than 0.3% distortion level at  at 1-kHz testing signal with 1-V amplitude.   Gain or amplification at 1 kHz is 47 dB,  and the tone control will curve the response with 11.5-dB boost at 100 Hz and 10 kHz at maximum bass and treble boost.  For minimum bass and treble knob position,  the attenuation will be 10dB  at 100 Hz  and 9dB at 10kHz. This circuit is operated by a single ended supply for wider range environment. Inputs can be from tape recorders pickup or magnetic-cartridge phonographs. 53 dB Stereo Preamplifier...

Preamplifier for RF Sweep Generator

The RF sweep frequency generator (‘wobbu-lator’) published in the October 2008 issue of Elektor has a receiver option that allows the instrument to be used as a direct conversion receiver. This receiver does however have a noise floor of only –80 dBm, which really should have been –-107 dBm to obtain a sensitivity of 1 µV. So, for a good receiver sommore gain is required. A wideband amplifie however, generates a lot of additional noisas well and as a consequence will not resuin much of an improvement.  As an experiment, the author developed a selective receiver with a bandwidth of about 4 MHz. Because a gain of at least 35 dB is required, the preamplifier consists of two amplifying elements. The input amplifier is designed around a dual gate MOSFET, type BF982. This component produces relatively little noise but pro-vides a lot of gain. The output stage uses a BFR91A for some additional gain. Preamplifiers where both the gate and the drain are tuned often struggle with feedback via the...
