Simple Period To Voltage Converter Circuit Diagram

This is a Simple Period-To-Voltage Converter Circuit Diagram . The circuit input signal drives ICD. Because ICD`s positive input (V+) is slightly offset to + 0.1 V, its steady state output will be around +13 V. This voltage is sent to ICC through D2, setting ICC`s output to +13 V. Therefore, point D is cut off by Dl, and CI is charged by the current source.  Assuming the initial voltage on CI is zero, the maximum voltage (^Cinax) is given by: When the input goes from low to high, a narrow positive pulse is generated at point A. This pulse becomes -13 V at point B, which cuts off D2. ICC`s V+ voltage becomes zero. The charge on CI will be absorbed by ICC on in a short time.  The time constant of C2 and R5 determines the discharge period— about 10 /is. ICB is a buffer whose gain is equal to (R& + R9)~Rg = lM5. ICD`s average voltage will be (1362f 1.545) + 2 = 1052/. RIO and C3 smooth the sawtooth waveform to a dc output. Simple Period-To-Voltage Converter Circuit Diagram

Voltage to pulse Duration Converter Circuit Diagram

This is a circuit of Voltage-to-Pulse Duration Converter. This circuit is used to convert voltage into pulse duration by combining a timer IC and an OP Amp. Accuracies to better than 1% can be obtained with this circuit (a), and the output signals (b) still retain the original frequency, independent of the input voltage.  Voltage-to-pulse Duration Converter Circuit Diagram

555 DC DC Converter

It is all too often necessary to augment the power supply of an existing electronic circuit because exactly the voltage that you need is missing. The circuit presented here may provide a solution in a number of cases, since it can be used to convert a single-ended supply voltage into a balanced set of supply voltages. That’s not so remarkable by itself, but the special feature of this circuit is that this is accomplished without using difficult to obtain, exotic ICs. All of the components used in the circuit are ones that every electronics hobbyist is likely to have in a drawer somewhere. The heart of the circuit is formed by an ‘old reliable’ 555 timer, which is wired here as a free-running oscillator with a frequency of approximately 160 kHz. The oscillator is followed by two voltage-doubling rectifiers, consisting of C1, D1, D2, C3 and C7, D3, D4, C5. They are followed in turn by two voltage regulators to stabilise the positive and negative voltages generated in this manner. The dut...

12V to 30V DC to DC Converter Schematic

12V to +/- 30V DC to DC Converter Circuit Diagram This is a DC to DC converter for car power amplifier. 12V input generates +30V and -30V output for preamp or power amplifiers. Circuit uses SG3525 IC, Mosfets and switching power supply.

Build 12V to 9V DC Converter

To get a more precise output voltage, replace zener diode Z1 with 10V and R1 with a 1Kilo ohm potentiometer. A Coolrib for Q1 is optional but highly recommended. You can replace Q1 for a more robust type to get more output amps depending on your requirements. Simple circuit to power your 9 volt cassette recorder and other stuff. Parts List: R1 = 560 ohm C1 = 1000uF/40V, Electrolytic C2 = 10uF/25V, Electrolytic C3 = 330nF, Ceramic Z1 = 9.1V, 1watt zener Q1 = ECG184, NTE184

Simple Low Loss Step Down Converter Project

This is the Simple Low Loss Step Down Converter Project. This circuit project arose from the need of the author to provide a 5 V output from the 24 V battery of a solar powered genera-tor. Although solar power is essentially free it is important not to be wasteful especially for small installations; if the battery runs flat at midnight you’ve got a long wait before the sun comes up again. The basic requirement was to make an efficient step-down converter to power low voltage equipment; the final design shown here accepts a wide input voltage from 9 to 60 V with an output current of 500 mA. The efficiency is very good even with a load of 1 mA the design is still better than a standard linear regulator. The low quiescent current (200 µA) also plays a part in reducing losses.  Some of the components specified (particularly the power MOSFET) are not the most economical on the market but they have been deliberately selected with efficiency in mind. Simple Circuit 12V to 120V DC DC Converter

Its a simple circuit of 12V DC to 120V DC converter . The circuit consists of two phases first phase of the investor base and then a rectifier and filter stage. IC1 NE555 is wired as an astable multivibrator operating at a frequency of 100 Hz and can be adjusted to the preset R1. IC1 output is coupled to the clock input of IC2 is a dual CMOS D flip-flop. IC2 divides the pulse train of 100 Hz IC1 2 50 Hz pulse trains that are 180 degrees out of the party and offered on the pin 1 and 2 of IC2. When pin 1 is high transistor Q1 conducts and current flows through the upper half of T1 primary winding. When pin 2 is the transistor Q2 conducts and high current flows through the lower half of the primary coil T1. As a result of a voltage of 120 V AC are induced in the secondary of T1. This voltage is rectified with bridge D1 to provide a 120V DC output. Capacitor C2 is the DC input filter, while C3, C4 are the output filters. Notes. The circuit can be assembled on a vero board. Q1 and Q2 re...
