Adjustable Voltage and Variable Current Limiter Circuit Diagram

This Mini Voltage Source with Adjustable Current Limit variable is very simple and efficient, ideal for small shippers or circuits that require a current limiter with adjustable voltage that this circuit can vary from a few mA up to 2 A and voltage 1.225v up to 12V or more, depending on the power supply.  Once the current reaches the limit set by the 100R resistor, transistor BC547 begins to act on the voltage regulator in the Adj pin and the output voltage starts to decrease. If the output is shorted, the output voltage will reduce to almost zero, as a kind of protection. Build a Low Power Variable Voltage Converter

Using electronic diagram below can be made a voltage converter that allows laps positive voltage of existing power sources, or convert it into a negative voltage. New supply is electrically isolated from the source through the ferrite transformer wound on a torus G2-3FT12. Primary winding consists of 30 turns. Number of turns in the secondary, n, is calculated using the equation: n = 30 Uo / Ui, where Uo is the desired voltage and Ui is the input voltage. Add to compensate pieriderior 20.05.10 turns. If the output voltage is higher, it can always reduce Pi. Both coil windings can be enamelled copper wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm.  Low Power Variable Voltage Converter Circuit Diagram: The transformer is controlled by a gate CMOS Schmitt trigger and Do with transformed into a rectangular signal generator R1 and C1. Additional current to charge C1 is provided by R2 and Pi, which controls the duty cycle of the rectangular signal. The signal frequency is about 220 kHz and fill factor o...

Power Electronics Inverter Complementary Output Variable Frequency Project

This ia a Power Electronics Inverter Complementary Output Variable Frequency Project. This project is under:, power supplies, Inverters , complementary output variable frequency inverter . In this circuit U1 is a 4060 12-stage binary ripple counter that is used as a free-running oscillator; its frequency of oscillation is: 1/2.2 CIR2.   Complementary Output Variable Frequency inverter Circuit Diagram  The output of U1 is applied to U2, a 14-stage binary ripple counter that provides square-wave outputs of lfz, 1/4, `is, and `lls of the clock frequency. These signals are combined in U3 and U4 to provide a complementary drive for Q1 and Q2. Outputs from U3 and U4 are ac-coupled to Q1 and Q2 via C2 and C4, respectively. R3 and R4 adjust tbe gate drive to Q1 and Q2. Q1 and Q2 alternately draw current through opposing sides of the primary to synthesize an ac input voltage at a given frequency.  Only one side of the primary of T2 is driven at one time, so maximum power ou...

Variable DC Power Supply Circuit Diagram

This project provides the schematic & the parts list needed to construct a simple DC Power Supply from an input power supply of 7-20 V AC or 7-30V DC. This project will come in handy in case you use plenty of batteries for your basic electronics project. Two DC voltage outputs are available; is a fixed regulated 5V for TTL use. The other output is variable from 5V upwards. The maximum output voltage depends on the input voltage. The specified maximum input DC voltage to the regulator is 35V. The maximum input voltage must be two volts higher than the regulated output voltage.   Variable DC Power Supply (Rise) Circuit Diagram The DC Power Supply circuit is based around the 7805 voltage regulator. It's only three connections input, output & ground & it provides a fixed output. The last digits of the part number specify the output voltage, e g. 05, 06, 08, ten, 12,15, 18, or 24. The 7800 series provides up to one amp load current & has on-chip circuitry to close down t...
