We all are familiar with Magnets. The properties of Magnets may sometimes amazed you too. Here, this circuit is wired as a Magnetic detector.

This circuit indicates you when their is a magnetic field over it.

The sensing, IC DN 6848 is the core part of this circuit. It is manufactured by panasonic, with built in Power supply and Magnetic sensor.

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF MAGNETIC SENSOR AND SWITCHING CIRCUIT


The IC DN 6848, will detect magnetic field, and the voltage on output pin reduces to zero, this triggers the PNP transistor and the LED connected to its collector turned ON.

Show a bar magnet's south pole towards the sensor, which makes the LED glow, indicating the magnetic field.
